Embrace May 2026

CFRI hosts this annual retreat for mothers of children and adults diagnosed with cystic fibrosis, in recognition of the vital role that mothers have in the care of their loved ones. Studies show that mothers of children with cystic fibrosis have extremely high rates of anxiety and depression, and that this may have a direct impact on their children’s adherence to their medical regimen.

CFRI’s Embrace Mothers Retreat offers

• Art and writing workshops;
• yoga;
• CF resources;
• respite time;
• an opportunity to connect with women who share the CF path.

The Retreat will take place from Friday May 1 to Sunday, May 3, 2026, at the beautiful Vallombrosa Retreat Center in Menlo Park, California.

Registration includes all Retreat activities, all meals, and 2 nights in a single room with private bath. Commuter registration includes all Retreat activities and meals.
